“ Great restaurant. Everything was excellent, and the service was outstanding. Sarah-Beth was our sever, and she was awesome. This will be a regular favorite of ours. ”
“ Today we ventured to Boondock it was a place that I had been to when it was the Red Barn pay pond. Now that being said it was a very appealing place to visit. When walking in you can tell they care about what they are doing. They were very welcoming to the guest. The Menu could have used some help not to say it was bad, what they had just did not match the effort. I had the pulled pork that was delicious the Sothern popcorn was cooked right, and the Mac and Cheese was delicious as well. I added the rib on the side, and they were cook just so right The server that we had he was a on it. The people working there feel like they are working together to make something pleasant for us to enjoy and their hospitality was pleasant. Thank you and I will return. ”

“ The food was great and really good service despite them being short help. Two wait staff with a dining room full and my tea was never empty and food was hot. Hash and pulled pork were good with the smoke flavor noticeable. Fried shrimp and scallops cooked well. Pickles were homemade with a little kick. Macaroni pie was cheesy and amazing. Slaw a little sweet but like Nana's. Fried green tomatoes more red than green and noticeably fried in fish grease. Chutney with them was good. Fried okra, omg!! I'm fat and sated after that meal. Dining room was clean and cool. Nice view of ponds. Food served on metal cafeteria trays. ”
“ Almost the best ribs ever! Great Mac and cheese, potato salad, hush puppies. I'm picky about southern food so if I say it's good, it's good. Great sweet tea also. ”
“ Ok Folks had heard about Boondocks from a Neighbor and thought got to try it out. So glad we did. Now it is out in the Country so make sure you got Gas and Time to enjoy this Wonderful Place. They have both Seafood and Bbq, which people seemed to enjoy both. We went with the Seafood Platters and Ye enjoyed each one so much. Hushpuppies are very good, but they have so many sides to choose from. Service was a bit slow because of Staff had to wait on several tables at once. Our Server Corey did a Great Job and was so helpful answering our questions. Over-all If You haven't been make that Trip to Grey Court but You might have to wait. Locals keep it packed!!!! ”
“ We went to Boondocks Fish Camp and BBQ with a large group from our church. The food and service were excellent. My wife had the Calabash Shrimp and I had the pick 2 with Calabash Shrimp. Our grandson has Diabetes and had the Grilled Shrimp with green beans. All the food was delicious!! Our only complaint was that our group had 17 and couldn't be seated together. You must have 20 for that to occur. We are planning our next trip back ”
“ The food is a 3 star but the service boosts it to a 4. The good: service was super nice and helpful. Dinning area wasn't too loud but was busy! The fried pickles, pulled pork, hush puppies and potato salad were good! House pickles were awesome! The average: the greens had good flavor but were very salty. Boonshine was interesting but not bad! Fried green tomatoes had little flavor but could've been worse! The peach cobbler tasted fine but was very doughy with no crunch, just mush! The bad: the catfish was gross and had no flavor! Even tartar sauce couldn't help! BBQ hash had a very weird taste, not very enjoyable. Mac & cheese had decent flavor but it was mostly just mushy noodles that had no structure. Overall decent place but probably won't be back. ”
“ Went Boondocks for the first time Thursday evening.. Ok it's in the Boondocks.....but not hard to find...GPS.....Clean friendly and fast service...Old style Fish Camp/Barbecue Restaurant....Pulled pork was good nice smoke taste good sauces....House made....Fried Flounder was very good...Hushpuppies was moist and tasty. Pickles.....they pickle their own and we're just a little too dilly for me which also affected the taste of the potato salad and slaw.....Over all not bad......will go back if I'm wanting fish But will try their other sides I'm ”
